A Cat's Blooming Rose - Origin of the Site's Name | A Site Dedicated to Black Cat Pairing - Creed Love Train!

Greetings! First, let us welcome you to our website- A Cat's Bloom Rose. The entire idea of the site is to create a community or a place dedicated for the pairing Creed/Train in the anime called "Black Cat".

We will explain later why we chose the pairing Creed/Train. In this entry, we will tackle why we chose "A Cat's Blooming Rose". First of all, it was Aki-chan (Creed's Rose) who chose the name. I proposed to her that we start a website about this pairing and since I am not good with names, I asked her what she thinks is the best name for a site that deals with the pairing Creed/Train.

I think that A Cat's Blooming Rose is only probable since, in my opinion, rose is what symbolizes Creed best. He is fragile yet thorny. When not handled in the right way, he could easily prick you with his aggressive nature and skillful swordsmanship. Yet despite of that, he has a hidden beauty within him. It is not just a physical beauty but good personality such as loyalty and courage. He is also a good tactician and an opportunist.

True, he is obsessive and that even earned him the rose symbolism more and more. Red rose is used to express true and strong love. If I'm not mistaken, the language of flowers express red rose as something that is strong and romantic. That is exactly what Creed represents.

His obsessive love is misunderstood. His respect is taken for granted and his will to do anything to please Train is incredible. These characteristics are what drew me in all actuality to the pairing.

Creed might have a warped perception and his determination to bring back Train to his old self is a bit idiotic because I really think that the new Train is better (softer, carefree and not a cold-hearted assassin that kills in a heartbeat). But that is his vision of what he would call "Train's preference". He is blinded by his past and because of that, he had deluded himself that Train did not like and is not willing to change leading him to conclude that Saya is merely poisoning his mind.

Anyway, the reason why it is called "A blooming rose" because whenever Train's around, he seems to be gentler and kinder. Remember Episode 10? When Train arrived, he totally forgot his place and for me, he became so happy despite for the fact that Train is not willing to join him.

This was further accented when he always praises Train and declared him as "the only one who is worthy of everything" and how "everyone is nothing compared to him". His statements are clearly a declaration of love or at the very least, adoration.

A Cat's blooming rose is a possessive statement because Creed totally gave himself to Train. Let's see, everything is done for Train, he rebelled against Chronos to free Train, made himself immortal to rule with Train, planned the future with Train, planned a paradise with him and Train, and wished to create a world where Train is by his side. This is a clearly Creed's way of saying, "Train, I am yours", isn't it?

Well, that's my opinion, anyway. And the reasons above states clearly why I agreed to the name. If you don't like my version, then maybe you can ask Aki-chan. ^_^
